All of these concerns are valid and why Paws Professional Pet Services proudly offers in-home pet sitting and or overnight stays in the convenience of your own home when you can't be there. Paws has been pampering clients in the metroplex for over fifteen years providing reliable, personalized and quality in-home care. Our attentive, loving and assertive staff cares for your animals as if they were one of their own.

 

As a new client, we understand the importance of feeling confident and secure with any individuals you entrust into your home, and more importantly, anyone that you allow to care for your beloved four-legged companion(s).

WHO IS IT THAT IS COMING TO MY HOUSE?

Paws employs our sitters - we do not use contract individuals. All of our sitters go thru a background check and are trained on caring for animals and dealing with emergencies. Some of our sitters have proudly been working for Paws for ten years because they not only love what they do, but they love their clients.

 

**note: for liability purposes, we do not allow our sitters to job share with your friends, neighbors, or family members during any stay. Likewise, only Paws affiliated employees will come into your home.

WHAT DOES EACH PERSONALIZED VISIT INCLUDE:

We can provide up to 4 personalized visits per day. Each of these pet sitting visits are 30 minutes in length, however with advance notice, we can easily customize a routine with extended visit times as available. Price per visit dependent on number of pets in our care and length of time desired.

 

A typical pet sitting visit includes: entering your home, picking up packages, fliers and bringing in the mail, rotating any lighting and or blinds, watering any plants, cleaning the skimmer baskets in the pool and or refilling the pool water level, providing fresh food and water for your pet(s), administering medications, cleaning the litter box, picking up after the pet, taking them on a brief walk or having a scheduled play time in the back yard, and providing a sense of security for your home.

CANCELLATIONS:

Paws requires a minimum of 12 hours notice on all non-holiday service cancellations. Credits will be applied to your next services and remain on file without expiration.

 

Holiday cancellations require a minimum of 7 days notice of cancellation in order not to be billed. Holidays are obviously our busiest time, and we can only accommodate so many clients at peak times. In order to book accordingly and to try to ensure we provide services for as many of our clients as possible during peak times, we do not make exceptions for changes in your schedule, arriving home early, etc.

EMERGENCY SERVICES:

Services requested with less than 5 hours notice will be charged a premium service fee on top of our regular service fee.

KEYS:

If you would like Paws to retain keys and or fobs on file for reoccurring use, we require that you provide us with (2) key copies at the new consultation. One will remain with your primary sitter, and one will be at our facility for emergency purposes. If we are not provided with (2) key copies, we will assess a pet taxi fee to our locksmith of choice plus a $4.00 key copy fee.

 

If you do not want Paws to keep any keys on file for you, we require that your keys are dropped off at our facility 24 hours in advance of your scheduled service appointment. After the visit, your sitter will drop off your keys at the facility to be picked up at your convenience. For security purposes, we will not leave your key at your premise after our last visit.

PAYMENT:

Paws requires all new and existing clients to have a credit card on file. All new clients will be billed at the time of their first service via credit card unless other payment arrangements have been specified. We accept the additional forms of payment for all services: cash, personal or business check, or PayPal.

MEDICINE ADMINISTRATION:

We happily pill or dose medications per your instructions at no additional charge. If you have more special needs babies that require us to administer injections or fluids, we charge a minimal additional fee. Fee determined based on circumstance and is priced per pet.

BOOKING A RESERVATION:

  • All new and existing clients process an online reservation request on our Reservations Center page.

 

**Please be sure to advise of any changes to your routine, any new pet(s) in the household, new security measures, etc.

 

  • All service inquiries will be responded to within 24 hrs.
  • For services with less than 24 hours notice, please call or text 469-855-7297.
  • Once we have confirmed we are available to provide services, you will receive an automated email booking confirmation through our Professional Pet Sitter Assistant Software that serves as both your verification, as well as your invoice.

CONSULTATION:

We offer an initial complimentary consultation after services are booked for one of our professionally trained and highly qualified pet care sitters to come and meet with you and to meet your animal(s) in your home environment. It allows us an opportunity to introduce ourselves, our company, to review our policies, our contract and to gather personal information about your home and your pet's daily regimen.

 

Our sitters arrive at the new consultation with our introductory new client information packet which includes:

  • an informative brochure on our business and the services we offer
  • an information sheet
  • our service contract
  • a key release form
  • a credit card authorization form
  • a veterinary release form
